getting ready in case of accidents
Transport ready for Dardanelles
(This is an Astraea-Class Protected Cruiser, either H.M.S. Cambrian (Stoker's training ship) or H.M.S. Indus II (Harbour ship/workshop) which was previously H.M.S. Flora till the British Admiralty decided to recycle the Flora name in April of 1915)
Naval Dockyard, Plymouth
(I believe this ship to be H.M.S. Sutlej, a Cressy-Class Armoured Cruiser. H.M.S. Sutlej was patrolling the west coast of Ireland in 1915 with the 11th Cruiser Squadron till reassigned to the Azores in early 1916.
a little gambling on board
Plymouth Harbour from the train
(This ship is the H.M.S. Vengeance, a Canopus-Class Battleship, that was being refitted due to boiler defects from July to Dec. 1915 before being recommissioned to The Cape and East Africa)
